Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for over 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s she performed as a stage actor in several Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner' in 1957. Her album, It's Too Late for Tina the in the same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This movie was an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. At the time, she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she signed with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned an impact as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her early years. After being chosen for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever for the last ten years.
