Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is author of many popular American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which has been running since 2002. Ina began her career in with nuclear energy policy and budgets of the White House. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she stopped her pursuit and purchased a small specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make her shop extremely successful before she closed the business. She then began to write the first of many cookbooks. A number of magazines and cookbooks came later. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a hit. The company also offers a wide range of product from cooking ingredients to storage and equipment. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor worked in a restaurant and has a complete self-taught. She is known as a cook who is simple and has her entertaining cooking style. The most well-known recipes she has created are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
