Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite famous. She was raised by her mom in the USA she faced numerous racial insults which gave her feeling of being a bit unpopular. In her 9th grade that she gained confidence after being highly praised in an audition. It not only increased her confidence but her ambitions were changed. The 22-year-old graduated with a degree from Julliard School in New York. In 1993, she made her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was called You've Got Mail. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot She played the role of Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC the show, she received more recognition. A singer by profession, she's also produced a single as well as an extended work. In addition, she's an activist and works extensively in the field of LGBT rights.
